FAQ

When and where is the event?

Our next show is on Saturday 2nd June, 2018, at the Mercure Holland House Hotel, Newport Road, Cardiff.

How can I buy a ticket?

The online ticket office for 2018 is now open via Eventbrite.

If you would like to join our Mailing List, drop us an email, with “Add me to the Mailing List” in the Subject box.

As with previous events, no physical tickets will be sent out. Your Eventbrite email contains a mobile ticket or a printable ticket – this will act as  your proof of purchase – please bring it with you to the show.  If the ticket is not purchased by you, please bring an additional form of ID.

Can I still come if I don’t buy an online ticket?

Of course!! Tickets will be available on the door.

Can I cosplay?

Cosplay is 100% welcomed at Cardiff Expo & we want everyone to have as fun a time as possible, but we do have a few things that we’d like you to observe:
•Cosplay must be family-friendly
•No replica weapons can be brought into the Hall – this includes BB guns, paintball guns, replica crossbows, spray canisters, replica or actual weapons*.
•Costumes must have no sharp edges or hard pointy bits that could cause injury. Metal, wood and professionally constructed costumes are allowed, but they must have properly finished edges.
•We’re a very happy and relaxed convention, but if at any time during your stay with us you’re made to feel uncomfortable, or the actions of others are stopping you having fun, please let one of our team know

*We absolutely appreciate the time and effort that goes into producing your amazing cosplay but particularly following recent events, we have a duty of care to avoid the risk of alarming people on the street, and at the convention, that may not be familiar with the concept of cosplay.  The local police have also requested this.

Leaving realistic weapons at home is a respectful way to help those working to keep us safe.

Will there be a Cosplay Competition / Parade ?

There will be a Parade at the next show 🙂
